Room description

This room has a wide single bed and is located on the second floor of the Terem. This is very likely the brightest and most romantic room. It has high ceilings and three windows facing south and west, with views to the orchard and the lawn. Just outside of the room’s doors are the grand living room and the bay window.

An extra bed can be placed in this room for a separate charge.

This room has no amenities, so guests use the bathroom across the hall. Don’t let this frighten you—this bathroom is only for you and guests from the next room, Melsha. We did not dare to make changes to the historical layout of the Terem, so it was impossible to make bathrooms in these rooms. But then, besides a shower and everything else, this bathroom even has a working fireplace!

It is possible to check in after 15:00; check-out is before 11:00.

Please let us know if you need to check in earlier. We always try our best to accommodate you, if possible. You can always leave your things with us, have tea, stroll around the area, see the museum, relax in the living room, or sit on the veranda before you check in.

Late check-out from your room is paid as a half-day. If you vacate your room, your luggage may be left in a special storage room for no additional cost.

Is breakfast included? What about lunch and dinner?

Breakfast is included in the room rate. Also, you can order lunches and dinners from us for an additional fee (please inform us about this no later than the evening before). We can arrange a festive banquet, gather food for picnics and snacks for the road.

Can guests cook their own meals?

Unfortunately, guests staying in the Terem and the Wing are not allowed to cook in our kitchen. However, you can rent a wood-fired grill from us.

Can an extra sleeping place be put in this room? What about a child’s cot?

A child’s cot can be placed in this room for a separate charge, but not an extra bed for an adult.

Is it possible to stay in this room with my pet?

No, you cannot stay in the historical part of the Terem with pets. If you bring your four-legged friend, you can book Tutka, Vocha, or Rakostel rooms, or one of the cottages.

Why is this room called Ida?

All our rooms are named after local rivers.

Useful information

Please eat in the Terem only in those rooms where our staff serves you. If you wish, you can be served in the common room, in the living room, on the veranda, or in the bay window; for this, you will need to ask the maids, and they will organize everything. We ask that you don’t eat in the rooms.

Candles may only be lit where they are and should not be left unattended.

Smoking is not permitted indoors, and, naturally, do not smoke near the Terem (this is very important!). There are comfortable and safe places for smoking, just ask any of the staff and they can show them to you.

Also, although this is not usual for hotels, it is not permitted to enter the building with street shoes. You can either use locally made slippers or bring your own house shoes with you.

Booking cancellation

We require a prepayment of 50% in order to book a room. It is fully refundable if you cancel your booking more than two weeks before your trip. If you cancel less than two weeks before your trip, we retain the amount of the prepayment towards your rebooking for other dates (immediately or in the future).

Room description

This room has two single beds and is located on the second floor of the Terem. The windows face south with views towards the pond and the orchard. Perhaps this was the bedroom of M. S. Sazonov, the Terem’s owner, since in addition to the usual door, it has a mysterious narrow door to the ‘black’ corridor, which was probably for servants.

This room has no amenities, so guests use the bathroom across the hall. Don’t let this frighten you—this bathroom is only for you and guests from the next room, Ida. Room description

Located on the ground floor of the Terem, Sonya has a wide double bed with a carved headboard and a rare local find – a wardrobe from the early 20th century with the owner’s autograph. The window in the room faces south, with a view to the pond and the orchard.

The Sonya room has no amenities, so guests use the bathroom next door. Don’t let this frighten you—this is not a common bathroom, but only for this room. We did not want to make changes to the Terem’s historical layout, so we had to move the “amenities” to where these premises were historically located. But their modern look would most likely astound the owners.

Cottage description

Acacia is a modern cottage suitable for 3-5 guests. It features a view towards the Wing and an award-winning architectural design. Half the walls in the cottage are glass, which is why it looks so remarkable both from the inside and from the outside. In Acacia, the living room, kitchen, and dining room are combined into a spacious common area. There are also two small bedrooms, one bathroom, and an outdoor terrace.

The first bedroom has a double bed and the second has a single bed. The fold-out sofa-bed in the living room can serve as an additional sleeping place. The kitchen has a fridge, a cooktop, and a set of dishes and cutlery. At the heart of the cottage is the wood stove, which is great to gather around during cold weather. However, you only need it to create a cozy atmosphere, as the cottage’s main source of heating comes from adjustable radiators.

There is a wood-fired grill station and a parking spot nearby.
