A hotel in a forest Terem

We offer guests several accommodation options to choose from.

The first category of rooms are six rooms in the Terem’s historic interiors. The rooms are furnished in the late 19th century style, the style of the times when the Terem was built. Beyond the threshold of your bedroom, you will find the grand living room, summer verandas, a study, and a winter garden – guests have access to all these areas. This is an opportunity to completely immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the country life of that era.

The second option are rooms in the Wing, which is connected to the Terem by a covered passage. The Wing has three rooms (one of them is a suite with two rooms). The interiors are a combination of traditional peasant style and modern northern style. These rooms are often chosen by guests with children and pets.

And finally, for those who want to be on their own, we have three Scandinavian cottages. These cottages, with all amenities and heating, are located at the edge of the forest with a view of the Terem.

When you invite guests to such a remote backwoods, taking care of them is not limited to just providing a comfortable place to stay. We feed guests, recommend taxi drivers from the station to guests who travel to us by train, and help guests plan their car trip. Feel free to ask us any questions.

Last, but not least, the Astashovo Terem is an excellent place to celebrate birthdays or weddings, to film a movie, or to hold a productive working session with colleagues. We host a wide variety of events.
